Zoning & Land Use Law
Our land use attorneys represent applicants and objectors in connection with land development applications, as well as municipal land use boards. Our attorneys have extensive knowledge of zoning and land use and local government law, as well as substantial experience in real estate development and environmental and regulatory compliance. They have handled a wide array of land development cases, ranging from small residential additions to large commercial site plan and subdivision applications and wireless communication facilities (cell tower) cases.
Mr. Warner of our Firm serves as Board Attorney for a number of municipal land use boards, including the Zoning Boards of Adjustment for both Warren and Bernards Townships, the Planning Board for the Borough of Bernardsville and the Land Use Board for the Township of Green Brook. He also serves as special litigation counsel to the Zoning Board of Adjustment of Bridgewater Township.
Mr. Warner also serves as an Associate Counsel for the New Jersey Planning Officials (NJPO), the non-profit organization that provides educational services, support and information to municipal planning boards, zoning boards of adjustment and elected officials throughout the State of New Jersey. He also is Director/Trustee of the Land Use Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a frequent lecturer, and author of articles, on a variety of zoning and land use topics.
